Virginia began painting in high school, discovering a love for creating aesthetically pleasing work from a blank canvas. In her earliest years painting, she studied art's great masters such as Degas and Picasso. However, she quickly developed a love of producing work directly from her own psyche, translating relation and emotion through abstract color and movement.
She earned degrees in both Interior Design and Art History from the University of Georgia's Lamar Dodd School of Art & Design in 2016. During her time at UGA, she had the opportunity to live in New York and work at Christie's Auction House. She also studied abroad in Cortona, Italy, where she was able to focus on painting and the history of art. She continued her study of art internationally at The University of Edinburgh, completing my master's degree in Modern and Contemporary Art: History, Curating, and Criticism. Since the completion of her master's degree in 2017, she has been working as an interior designer and artist in Louisiana, realizing an immense love for producing beautiful works and creating unique spaces.
