Sage Evening is about the social moments in our lives that make us feel happy and whole. They are the healing nights that involve storytelling and sitting around a fire with friends. These are the nights that give us fuel when we are running out of energy. This 8.5” x 11.5” work on cotton rag paper emphasizes the approachable warmth of our favorite people that leave us feeling better than they found us. Sage, beige, and tan tones emphasize comforting warmth while navy watercolor and black pastel suggest the depth of experiences that we carry with us to these healing nights. The darker areas are what eases during a sage evening.
