The curvy 3” x 3” Tougher Than I Look ornament is hand-painted a deep graphite color. The color choice here is a nod to both artistry (commonly created with graphite) and the deeper, more difficult experiences throughout the 2021 year. The gorgeous leather strand material, accented with a brass bolt, was chosen to acknowledge how tough we are as individuals. Like you, leather can survive just about anything. The curvaceous shape creates a twist on deeper graphite and leather colors, acknowledging their beauty.

On the surface, the Tougher Than I Look ornaments (available in both round and curved shapes) are incredibly interesting. Carefully applied robust texture under the surface pushes through, creating a dichotomy between graphite tone on tone colors of varying surfaces. The conversation of color and texture continues, as they interact in a binary way.

These ornaments are sealed to protect them for years to come. Each ornament is signed and dated with the year. These ornaments are bisque-ware and should be handled with care.
