Messy Conversations, Part 3, gansai tambi paint and coffee ink on cotton rag shizen paper, 5” x 7”

The Messy Conversations series is comprised of 3 paintings, made from natural coffee ink and traditional Japanese gansai tambi paint. Created in Korea, these abstract works comment on the more difficult or “messy” conversations amongst friends, often occurring over coffee or drinks within cafes. An integral reflection of modern Korean design, Korean cafes are often incredibly impressive architectural works of art themselves. A love for coffee has given way to design innovation, deep conversations, and abundant healing for so many. The darker ink in these paintings eludes to difficulty while the lighter coffee ink alludes to more positive aspects of conversation. The directionality and energy of the markings reflects a flow of conversation in motion.

Created on acid-free recycled 100% cotton rag paper, this painting is varnished and ready to ship in its beautiful wood tone frame and white matting. Please allow 1 week of processing and packaging time for this painting before shipping.

Overall Framed Size: 9” x 11”
